Youtube is having a great year. The video platform announced $6 billion in advertisement revenue for the first quarter of 2021.
The first quarter revenue is up by $4 billion from 2020. Youtube parent company, Alphabet, says the growth is a 50% jump in year-to-year metrics.
Youtube is also in the midst of serious negotiations for their Youtube TV service with Roku.
Alphabet brought in over $55 billion in revenue for first quarter of 2021.
