WWE Network no longer available in Saudi Arabia

WWE Network is currently not available in Saudi Arabia. WWE Network’s support Twitter responded to an inquiry saying the Network “will not be available in Saudi Arabia until further notice.”

Commentary: It is interesting to see the relationship between WWE and the government of Saudi Arabia in the public state. Now, I am not saying that this is the reason why the Network is no longer available (it could just be legal reasons or technical reasons), but it seems like the two parties are having more and more issues.

There were reports a few months back that the government hadn’t paid the WWE for their shows in the country. The Saudi government also blocked planes with WWE personnel from leaving the country. Now, the WWE is taking their network out of their country. One has to wonder…
