Twitter might be looking into created a “Stories” like feature for their platform. According to TechCrunch, Twitter as acquired the Chroma Labs, a company founded by Instagram’s Boomerang co-founder, John Barnett.
Chroma Labs is an app where you can create advance frames and templates for your stories on Instagram and Snapchat. One has to wonder what the motivation for Twitter’s purchase is.
Does Twitter want to create a “Stories” alternative for themselves or just have some control over the look of stories?
Chroma Labs will no longer be updated. The Chroma Labs team will begin working on Twitter related projects.
