T-Mobile and Sprint have finally become one company. The long time merger between Sprint and T-Mobile became official as of April 1, 2020.
As the deal is finalized, the outspoken (now former) CEO of T-Mobile, John Legere, is stepping down. T-Mobile’s President, Mike Sievert, is now the new CEO of the cell provider.
The merger makes T-Mobile the strong number 3 cell provider in America. As part of a settlement with the United States Department of Justice, the combined company will be selling off their prepaid services to Dish Network, making Dish the 4th biggest cell phone provider.
