AUSTIN, TX – June 10, 2017 – Patrick J. Adams, star of USA Network and Universal Cable Production’s beloved legal drama SUITS is set to direct the series’ upcoming 100th episode, airing August 30. The actor announced the news during ATX Television Festival’s “From Actor to Action!” panel at Google Fiber Space in Austin, Texas alongside fellow actors-turned-directors Kyra Sedgwick, Adam Arkin, Edward James Olmos, Ken Olin and moderator Mandi Bierly (Yahoo! TV). Adams, who directed the SUITS midseason premiere this past January, has starred as Mike Ross, a brilliant, but not-so-legitimate college dropout, for the past six seasons. SUITS returns for Season 7 on Wednesday, July 12 at 9/8c.
“I couldn’t be more excited and honored to be directing the 100th hour of SUITS,” said star and director Patrick J. Adams. “We are blessed on this show with an incredible crew and an absurdly talented group of actors and writers. I’m looking forward to stealing all of their good ideas and getting to pretend they are my own.”
SUITS centers on a fast-paced Manhattan corporate law firm led by Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht), his legal prodigy Mike Ross, the intelligent, but delicate partner Louis Litt (Rick Hoffman), Harvey’s formidable executive assistant Donna Paulsen (Sarah Rafferty) and the firm’s impressive paralegal Rachel Zane (Meghan Markle). Now that Mike is officially recognized as a lawyer and has accepted Harvey’s offer to return to the firm, Season 7 will see the team back together again at Pearson Specter Litt – each dealing with their own struggles as they adjust to a new world order without Jessica.
