-WALKING DEAD TEARS MY HEART OUT.  AGAIN.

While I refuse to explicitly spoil anything from the issue, If you haven’t read issue #83 yet I’ve already ruined the shock and for that I’m sorry.  Part of what made it so emotional was that I never saw it coming.  Even though I know it’s a book where anything can happen and no one is safe, particularly in an arc where such an event feels inevitable, there were no less than three moments that hurt to read.  And when I happened upon the big double-page spread I had what I can only describe as a minor panic attack.  This is the third time that this series has affected me on this kind of level, something that very few pieces of fiction in any medium have matched.  I can’t wait to read what happens next, but simultaneously I’m terrified to do so.  Hell of a book, The Walking Dead.
