-AGE OF ULTRON MIGHT BE GOING SOMEWHERE, BUT I AM NOT GOING WITH IT

While Uncanny X-Men #3 is an incredibly taut, well-done comic book jammed with layers upon layers of fun and drama, Brian Michael Bendis also wrote my least favorite book this week:  Age of Ultron #2.  Allow me to recap the events of the issue.  Moon Knight and Black Widow are surviving out in the world.  Spider-Man recounts sleeping through the apocalypse.  Captain America stands up. THE END.

There is a general curiosity about where this is going that makes me want to keep buying the miniseries.  But I have to face the fact that I’m hating it now, and spending another 32 dollars on the other eight issues isn’t going to make me like it any more.  And even if it’s good, I’ll buy the trade for thirty bucks and save two dollars.  I win either way.
