-TALKIN’ ‘BOUT THESE GENERATIONS
I’ve only read two of these turkeys, but the hype appears to be “this is going to lead to some big changes!” and the payoff seems to be “hmm, this older version of myself has some problems, and I have to accept a rough truth about myself!” This week’s was a multi-Thor adventure written by Jason Aaron which means that as empty as it was it was still pretty good. I suppose I’d hoped for more from a meeting between brash young Thor and Ladythor, but no. They just hit things with hammers and axes, made a joke about the sphinx, and Jane Foster had to accept a rough truth about herself.
I think the only other Generations title I plan to buy is the Spider-Man one, and maybe Hawkeye because Kate Bishop is the super bomb, but I’m not looking forward to them. Not ideal for an event that’s a prequel to an even bigger event.
