I’m pretty sure I go through this spiel every time Panel Syndicate puts out a new comic, but there’s a good reason for that. Pay-as-you-want digital comics should not be a viable business model, but so far these stories have been more than good enough to compel people to pay for them. Not only that, but it’s been successful enough that the output is only expanding, and will likely continue to do so.

Why is this so good for you? Because there is zero risk at entry. You are entirely entitled to read all 16 comics at right now for free. Then, if you can afford to pay and you liked what you read, you can download one or more of the files again and give them what you feel it was worth. There is no reason not to.

And it’s never been a better time to try it out, because The Walking Dead is a phenomenon that has likely touched your life in some way by now and there’s a really good, extremely free tale from that mythos just waiting for you. Go ahead. Make your day better. And then try out The Private Eye. Fantastic! Try out Universe. Often even better! Barrier will probably also be good once it gets rolling!

It’s cool stuff being done by cool people, and there’s nothing better than that. Check them out.
