Nick Cannon To Produce A Daytime Talk Show

The longtime entertainer is adding to his hosting duties that currently include FOX’s The Masked Singer and POWER 106 FM’s Nick Cannon In The Morning.

Comedian, Rapper, and TV host, Nick Cannon, has signed on to produce a daytime talk show. The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Cannon has signed on to produce the daytime talk show after a stint as guest host for the Wendy Williams Show.

“After leaving America’s Got Talent, I wanted to focus on developing my own talk show,” Cannon said. “I’ve always dreamed of a platform where I can speak to America and discuss pop culture, as well as the topics on everyone’s minds.

“When I had the opportunity to guest host at my good friend Wendy Williams’ show this year, I experienced the energy and excitement of a daytime talk show and instantly knew I found my audience.”

Cannon has signed on with Wendy Williams producer, Debmar-Mercury. Adding to his current hosting gigs (The Masked Singer – FOX, Nick Cannon In The Morning -POWER 106 FM), this would be a major jump for Cannon.

A name and premiere date were not announced, however, the plan is for early 2020.
