As many of you know by now the MW 2 remaster just got drop very randomly on March 31st. Which is really great because we could all use a great deal of fun during these difficult times. However, this is only good if you are a Sony fan and have a PS4 because otherwise have fun waiting till April 30th to play the remaster on any Xbox and PC. Now the big question truly is why did Sony get first dibs to this but not the rest of us?
The truth is for a long time now Activision and Sony have had a time exclusivity deal, which means that certain content gets release to Sony sometimes way before Xbox and PC. So, unfortunately, this also means the MW 2 remaster. The issue that a lot of people are having is during the one time in history we all have to be stuck indoors it is disappointing that Activision couldn’t work out a way for all consoles to get the remaster to have something to enjoy.
I also want to point out this is no way Sony’s fault if Activision wanted to makes this something for the fans to enjoy then they really would have tried to change this release date so we all get it. At the end of the day, this is truly just a business issue, so while I don’t recommend getting mad over a remaster. That by the way you can play via backward compatibility won the Xbox one. We can at least be thankful that it is still coming to us only a month from now. While it may be a really long month for all of us at least now we something to look forward too.
Currently Playing: Red Dead Redemption 2
And don’t worry about having other things to play as of right now I am working on a shortlist of long and very fun games to play during the quarantine so check back soon for that! N8
