Rock legend Mark Tremonti is taking a chance for charity with his latest project.
The guitar player best know as a cofounder of Creed and Alter Bridge, and in recent years has become the singer for his Tremonti band, is stepping into a suit. Mark Tremonti is taking in Sinatra.
Tremonti is donating all proceeds from Mark Tremonti Sings Frank Sinatra to the National Down Syndrome Society.
His debut single, “I Got You Under My Skin” is out now. You can watch the video below. Tremonti kills the song. He sounds like he’s been doing this his whole life. When singers cross genres like this, you never know what you’re going to get. With this project, Tremonti has so far shown that he can in fact sing anything.
Tremonti’s take on these songs is going to be exciting. In the past 10 years, the fans of Tremonti have gotten to know him as a vocalist, but they have never heard him like this. Bukle up.
According to the projects official website, Tremonti was not only able to secure Sinatra’s band to record the song but also a blessing from the Sinatra family.
Take a listen to the song below and let us know what you think!
