Well, this didn’t take long: Lifetime is making a TV movie about the college admissions scandal. Lifetime announced during the TCA press tour that the project is in the works. The cable TV network is famous for quick turnaround on major social scandals being turned into TV movies.
There is no cast announcement yet, but there is a description for the film.
“College Admissions Scandal will follow two wealthy mothers who share an obsession with getting their teenagers into the best possible college,” reads the description. “When charismatic college admissions consultant Rick Singer offers a side door into the prestigious institutions of their dreams, they willingly partake with visions of coveted acceptance letters in their heads.”
One has to wonder if Lifetime will hire Lori Loughlin to play herself in the film.
