Comedian and Actor Kevin Hart is gearing up to open two plant-based restaurants in Los Angeles, Deadline reports.
Hart plans to open Hart House eateries in the Los Angeles area. While the locations have not been determined, Hollywood is highly considered for the first spot. Hart House will feature plant-based burgers, chicken style sandwiches, fries, and milkshakes.
During an interview with Joe Rogan, Hart mentioned that he has begun to have a healthier lifestyle following his near-death car accident a few years back. That lifestyle sees Hart refraining from red meat, fish, and other seafood.
“Just because you make the decision to go and try plant-based, doesn’t mean you have to [ be engulfed] in that world,” Hart told Rogan. “Learn it, understand it, and see if there are benefits that work for you.”
Hart House is being created with the help of Andy Hooper, a professional restauranteur.
