The original American Idol and coach on NBC’s The Voice, Kelly Clarkson, has finally reached a settlement in her divorce from former manager, Brandon Blackstock, Page Six reports.
Clarkson has won primary custody of the couple’s 2 children, Blackstock will have the children one weekend a month. The singer also won her Montana ranch in the settlement but Blackstock will be living there until June. He’s going to be paying over $12,000 a month for the right to do so.
Blackstock retains a 5% ownership of the ranch, which Page Six says is almost $1 million. Clarkson will be paying Blackstock $115,000 per month in spousal support. Vanity Fair is reporting that she is also paying $45,000 a month in child support. The court has signed off on all terms.
On paper, it looks like Blackstock has walked away with a good sum of money for himself as the couple formally splits.
