Singer Jessica Simpson is buying back her brand, The Jessica Simpson Collection, for $65 million.
The singer has been attempting to raise enough capital to be able to buy 62.5% of her brand. He and her mother, Tina Simpson, already owned 37.5% of the business.
The Jessica Simpson Collection has been owned by Sequential Brands Group since 2015. Sequential Brands Group filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy in August of 2021.
“Jessica is completely reenergized to build this back to be a $1 billion brand,” A source told the New York Post.
