Heineken has sued Satellite Logistics for allegedly failing to properly cool 15,000 cases of beer. The beer company shipped the 15,000 cases last year from Amsterdam and when they were unloaded, they were placed in below zero cooling storage. The beer then froze.
Heineken is seeking $234,000 in damages. According to the New York Post, Satellite is supposed to put the beer into climate-controlled facility and failed to do so. According to Heineken claims that “extreme temperature abuse” changes the taste of the beer.
