FOX is creating a spin-off show for 911 called 911: Lone Star and just announced Liv Tyler as their female lead. Tyler joins Rob Lowe in the spin-off set to debut in the midseason.
Tyler is famously the daughter of Aerosmith singer, Steven Tyler, and has starred in Leftovers and Lord of the Rings. 911: Lone Star will be Tyler’s first broadcast TV role.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, “The spinoff, from 911 creators Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Tim Minear, stars Lowe as a New York City firefighter who moves with his son to Austin, where he tries to balance saving people who are at their most vulnerable and solving problems in his own life.”.
911: Lone Star is set to debut on January 19, 2020 after the NFC Championship game. The series will then move to Monday nights where the original series airs while on break.
