Elon Musk reveals he wanted to sell Tesla to Apple

Apple has purchased many companies over the years and Tesla is not one of them.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk says that he attempted to open discussions to sell Tesla to Apple during the companies rough years. However, Musk was unable to get a meeting with the Apple CEO Tim Cook.

“During the darkest days of the Model 3 program, I reached out to Tim Cook to discuss the possibility of Apple acquiring Tesla (for 1/10 of our current value),” Musk tweeted Tuesday. “He refused to take the meeting.”

There are plans for Apple to produce an Apple Car.
