Cambell’s Search For CEO
The iconic soup maker has been looking for a new leader. The company’s Board of Directors promised to have a new CEO by the end of the year and they are getting closer to finding the right person. According to The Wallstreet Journal, the board is looking at former Pinnacle Foods CEO, Mark Clouse for the job.
While a decision has yet to be made, Clouse is probably going to be negotiating for the job in the next few weeks. Clouse was the CEO of Pinnacle until it was acquired last month.
Microsoft Dethrones Apple For A Moment
Microsoft and Apple have been feuding since the 80s. And now, they are feuding overvaluation. Microsoft briefly beat Apple in valuation the other day. According to WSJ, Microsoft is seeing investors double down on the company as Apple is making investors nervous.
Under Armour Promises To Be Nice
Under Armour CEO Kevin Plank is promising to work on getting the company to be a better workplace environment for all employees. In an article that came out earlier this month, Under Armour was accused a company of creating an environment that was not female friendly. In fact, the company was accused of reimbursing trips to strip clubs and inviting women to social events based on attractiveness.
Plank says he takes responsibility and is planning on implementing better workplace policies to make sure all employees feel comfortable and safe.
