Chris Jericho now owns ‘Chris Jericho’

The first ever All Elite Wrestling champion Chris Jericho now owns ‘Chris Jericho’. According to PWInsider, WWE and Jericho made an agreement that saw the worldwide trademark for ‘Chris Jericho’ be transferred to Chris Irvine, professionally known as Chris Jericho.

Jericho worked for WWE on and off from 1999 thru 2017. Under the agreement, characters created by Jericho and WWE during the years that he was under contract to the organization remain in WWE’s ownership, but the rights to use ‘Chris Jericho’ will be owned by Jericho.

According to the report, the agreement was made on 6/1 but the ownership transfer just happened in August.
