CNN has announced the termination of Chris Cuomo.
CNN hired an outside law firm to investigate the claims of Cuomo helping his brother, Andrew, in his sexual assault and harassment cases.
CNN said in a statement: “Chris Cuomo was suspendedearlier this week pending further evaluation of new information that came to light about his involvement with his brother’s defense. We retained a respected law firm to conduct the review, and have terminated him, effective immediately.”
Cuomo was suspended early last week pending this investigation. No word on who will replace Cuomo.
