Jim Ross, who’s WWE contract is ending at the end of March, commented on his opinions on Dean Ambrose, who’s contract ends in May. Ross and Ambrose have both been rumored to be joining All Elite Wrestling, but nothing has been announced.
Ross commented:
“He’s had great work since he said he was leaving,” adds Ross. “His work has been exemplary. He hasn’t called anything in, he has had great matches, great effort.”
“Wherever he’s going, somebody’s getting a player.”
Commentary: Ambrose, if treated properly, has the potential to be a huge star in the independent scene. When he’s not doing the cheesy jokes or trying to be a quick witted, he can be a serious player.

The Young Bucks spoke with Chuck Carroll of CBS sports about all things AEW. One of the big notes was their take on television distribution.
Nick started out by saying that they wanted to take things old school and not insult fans. He also commented on how much people like to binge watch.
Matt would later come in and say that he believes that AEW will eventually need TV. TV is an important factor in long term growth of AEW. There is not current TV deal signed that they are comfortable with commenting on, however they did say that they would like to become the first wrestling promotion to successfully do streaming.
Commentary: I still believe that it is more important for AEW to produce a weekly show and put it somewhere than it would be for them to run quarterly shows and search for a TV deal.
