The cast of the smash sitcom Friends reunites again on “Carpool Karaoke” with James Corden.
Will Smith has signed a deal to host an hour-long Variety show on Netflix.
Smith will host and executive producer the unnamed special but promises “surprise celebrity guests, noteworthy conversation, fresh comedic sketches, huge musical performances and more.”
Smith showed off his hosting abilities in the Fresh Prince of Bell Air reunion special on HBO Max.
Smith’s production studios, Westbrook Studios, will produce the special. The Netflix special will air later this year.
After a controversial 2020, Call Her Daddy is leaving Barstool Media for Spotify.
In a deal rumored to be worth $60 million, Alex Cooper is taking her podcast to Spotify starting July 21. The deal is an exclusive deal for the two, locking out Barstool Media.
In 2020, Cooper and Barstool had a massive feud in hopes to renegotiate hers and former co-host Sofia Franklyn’s contracts. In the end, Franklyn exited the podcast and Cooper has gone on to host the show solo.
Now, Cooper is cashing in on the biggest exclusive deal Spotify has signed for a female led podcast.

“From its start three years ago, the show has always been about challenging the status-quo and manifesting conversations that previously only happened behind closed doors,” Cooper said in a statement, adding that she will “continue raising the bar great with content and guests” on her new platform.
It will be interesting to see how Daddy fans react to the news and follow Cooper to her new home.
CBS has announced that their daytime talk show The Talk has been renewed for a 12th season.
The show saw season 11 surrounded with controversy. Longtime host, Sharon Osbourne, was fired from the show after a controversial conversation where she stood up for Piers Morgan.
Osbourne was let go on March 26.
A replacement for Osbourne has yet to be named.
Apple has released the trailer for season 2 of The Morning Show. Apple’s flagship show for their Apple TV+ service is returning in September.

After 19 years as host, Chris Harrison has been relieved of his duties from ABC’s The Bachelor franchises.
Harrison exited the show earlier this year with the hopes of being reinstated as host. He exited the show after Rachel Kirkconnel was “outed” as for attending an antebellum themed party in college. Harrison said the public needed to give her some grace.
Harrison is expected to receive and eight-figure payday on his way out. It has been announced that Bachelor in Paradise will be guest hosted by the likes of David Spade and others.
Harrison will not be able to speak publically on the breakup between ABC Network and himself. A new host has yet to be named.
Netflix has launched an online store where fans of their shows can buy merchandise.
Last week, the streaming powerhouse launched Netflix.shop, a store where fans can buy exclusive items from their favorite shows. The shop includes collections designed by Nathalie Nguyen, Kristopher Kites, and Jordan Bentley.
The store has hats, shirts, and hoodies. Prices start at $30 and run up to $135. Netflix plans to release more merchandise from different shows.
Netflix’s Vice President of Consumer Products John Simon says the company plans to expand the store into more markets. Currently, the store is only available in the United States.
“We’re always looking at how we can extend the world of our stories for fans, from apparel and toys to immersive events and games,” Simon said. “We’re thrilled to give fans a new way to connect with their favorite stories, and to introduce them to the next wave of artists and designers who embrace the power of storytelling in all its forms.”
Warner Bros.’ In The Heights film failed to meet expectations at the box office.
In The Heights is a film adaptation of the hit broadway musical by the same name. Created by Lin-Manuel Miranda, who also created and starred in the broadway smash, Hamilton. Heights brought in $11.4 million, a few million short of expectations.
Heights was expected to bring in minimum of $15 million. The winner in this week’s box office race was Paramount’s A Quit Place II which brought in $11.7 million.
WarnerMedia also released the film on their streaming app, HBO MAX. In The Heights stars Anthony Ramos.
Ryan Seacrest is reportedly courting Bella Thorne and her sisters to become the new Kardashian family, according to PageSix.
The Kardashian’s are ending their 20 season run of being a reality show family on E! Network. Seacrest is the creator and executive producer of Keeping up with the Kardashians and is looking to fill the void the Kardashians will leave. His eyes are set on the Thornes.
The Thorne girls have moved to LA from Florida recently. The concept of the show would show Bella, Dani, and half sister Kaili trying to make it in Hollywood. Bella has recently gotten involved with OnlyFans as has her sister Kaili.
PageSix is reporting that Seacrest and the Thorne girls are looking to do some test filming for a pilot in the near future.
