CNN Cancels ‘Don Lemon Tonight’; Lemon Moves to Mornings

CNN continues to purge their radical hosts and show lineup. CNN announced on Thursday that Don Lemon Tonight, the networks primetime show hosted by Don Lemon, was canceled and Lemon would be moving to the morning show.

Unlike Stelter, Lemon will remain with the network and move to the morning show along with Poppy Harlow and Kaitlan Collins.

“There is no stronger combination of talent than Don, Poppy and Kaitlan to deliver on our promise of a game-changing morning news program,” Licht said in a statement.

There has not been any announcement regarding CNN’s current morning show host John Berman and Brianna Keilar or the Don Lemon Tonight time slot.

“The last eight years have been an incredible ride,” Lemon said in a statement. “I’ve had the opportunity to work with one of the best show teams in the business, but it’s time to shake things up.”

Dr. Phil claims the firing was done to ensure “longevity” for the show. The staffers who were let go worked in the production department for the the show.

“As is typical of this process there were some roles we discovered that we could reduce yet still deliver our dynamic, forward-thinking program,” the spokesperson said in a statement to The Post.

Last year there were allegations made about the show having a toxic work environment.

“I would literally be working in my sleep and have nightmares about something being wrong or not turning in something the right way,” the former employee said. “Even when I quit, I had to go to therapy for it, which is crazy because you’re working for a therapist.”

Dr. Phil McGraw was not implicated in the allegations made against the show.

Alter Bridge returns with ‘Pawns & Kings’ single

Hard rock band Alter Bridge is back! The band has released their lead single from their forthcoming record, Pawns & Kings. The lead single is also the title track.

Alter Bridge is returning to a sound that has done them well. The band’s 6th studio record, Walk the Sky, departed from the sound that brought them to the dance and saw many fans dislike the new direction. Pawns & Kings looks like a return to the sound from ABIII through The Last Hero with an updated style.

“Pawns & Kings” just slaps. This is probably the strongest single the band has released since “Isolation” in 2010.
