Surprise! Amy Schumer is officially off the market. She married her boyfriend of just a few months, chef Chris Fischer, in a secret wedding on Tuesday, February 13. The private ceremony took place in Malibu outside of a rented house by the ocean, as stars such as Jennifer Lawrence, David Spade, Jennifer Aniston and Jake Gyllenhaal looked on. Word has it, the wedding was put together very quickly and guests were only notified on Sunday about the Tuesday event, via text message sent by Amy. There were about 80 guests in total, but it’s a safe bet that none of them took any pictures, because of the strict ‘no photos’ policy that was enforced.
Schumer had only just confirmed her relationship with Fischer a few days prior to the wedding, with a photo posted to Instagram of the pair kissing at Ellen DeGeneres’ 60th birthday party. However, the two had been spotted together in New York City, having dinner back in November, and again in January at the NBC Studios for Saturday Night Live.
The comedienne had been previously linked to furniture designer Ben Hanisch, whom she met from a dating app in 2015. They ended their relationship in May of 2017.
