If you work for Amazon and get Covid, you will no longer be paid for sick time, CNBC reports.
According to the report, U.s.-based Amazon employees will be given 5 days of unpaid leave to recover from Covid. Amazon will allow employees to use their sick time if needed.
The e-commerce giant has also stopped reporting positive tests in facilities unless it is required by law.
“The sustained easing of the pandemic, ongoing availability of COVID-19 vaccines and treatments, and updated guidance from public health authorities, all signal we can continue to safely adjust to our pre-COVID policies,” the company said in the notice.
