Myles Kennedy, lead singer of the band Alter Bridge, did an interview recently where he discussed the plans for the band moving forward. Kennedy is doing press ahead of the final leg of his Year of the Tiger tour with a full band.
In the interview, Kennedy was asked about the plans for Alter Bridge. Kennedy said that he is currently writing his portion of songs for the band’s 6th studio album and Mark Tremonti is also working on music for the release.
The plan is for the band to come together in April 2019 to work on the album as a full band. This means that we could very much see an Alter Bridge album in 2019!
The guys in Alter Bridge have been very busy. Myles Kennedy released The Year of the Tiger, his solo debut in March and Tremonti released A Dying Machine over the summer. Kennedy also released Living The Dream, the third studio album from his collaboration with Slash. On top of that, the band released Alter Bridge: Live At Royal Albert Hall.
This would would mean that the band or acts affiliated with the band have released 4 projects in 12 months. It’s a great time to be a fan of Alter Bridge.
