Alex Jones ordered to pay $100,000 in Sandy Hook defamation lawsuit

Alex Jones is on the hook for $100,000 in legal fees when it comes to the defamation case brought against the InfoWars host. Texas District Judge, Scott Jenkins, issued the ruling on December 20, 2019 after the InfoWars team “intentionally disregarded an order to provide witnesses and other materials”, according to The New York Post.

Neil Heslin, a father of one of the Sandy Hook shooting victims, is suing Jones and InfoWars for “defamatory lies” in regard tot he mass shooting. Heslin claims that InfoWars published an article questioning comments made by Neslin.

This isn’t the only lawsuit Jones is involved in. InfoWars and Jones are bing sued by a few families in Connecticut for claiming that Sandy Hook was a “hoax”.
