In a recent interview, Justin Bieber says he’s calling it quits after his next record. People close to him say the opposite. Scooter Braun recently said that he wants Bieber to take it easy after Bieber’s new movie comes out on Christmas.
“I’m actually, uh, I’m retiring man, I’m retiring, yeah,” said the 19-year-old. “I think I’m probably going to quit music.”
Sources close to Bieber insisted yesterday the singer was “joking.”
However, Justin’s manager, Scooter Braun, admitted on Wednesday he would like the singer to take time away from the spotlight once his film “Believe” hits theaters on Christmas.
“I’m telling him after this movie, I want him to take next year off and just take a break,” Braun noted during an interview on KIIS “On Air With Ryan Seacrest.” “He can still live in the studio and work on the next album, which is what he wants to do, but I just want him to take some time to himself, so he can have that time alone, cause he’s been working since he was 12 years old.”
