The Nickelodean star has sadly lost her mother to her long battle with breast cancer. Debra McCurdy was reportedly fighting breast cancer for about 17 years but unfortunately the disease became too much. Jennette was scheduled to host Nickelodean’s Worldwide Day of Play in New York City today, but she has cancelled her appearance.
