Episode two of this amazing drama on ABC aired on October 4, 2015. This episode took their time to develop storylines that needed to develop. And after the premiere episode of Blood & Oil last week, this show needs to slow down a bit.

We pick up where we left off with a cliff hanger of a potential fire to the actual fire scene. Episode 2 is the developing chase for the suspect who almost killed Hap Briggs (played by Don Johnson of Miami Vice fame) and Billy.

I won’t go into recap mode but will say that there were three things that stood out to me:

  • This show will be huge on building relationships
  • Billy is walking a line of good and evil
  • This show will take us on an emotional rollercoaster

You cannot miss this show! This is the best show on TV!

The new John Stamos comedy on  FOX Grandfathered opens with Jimmy played by Stamos being a charismatic ladies man and restruant manager. Stamos’ charectar is Uncle Jesse from early Full House to father Uncle Jesse but much older. In other word, Stamos plays this charectar perfectly.

We cut to Jimmy’s next day testing new menu items and trying to get the reservations back up when some kid named Gerald (played by Josh Peck of Drake & Josh fame) walks in introducing his mother named Sarah. The bombshell that is dropped is that Gerald is Jimmy and Sarah’s son and he has a daughter named Eddy (spellcheck on that).

Gerald introduces Jimmy into his granddaughter. Jimmy doesnt know how to react and originaly rejects the idea of a family before chasing down Gerald and accepting his granddaughter and son.

ONe thing I love about Josh’s charectar is that there is still some nerdy weirdness and awkwardness from his Drake and Josh days. A funny moment happens when Gerald and Jimmy are hanging out, Jimmy goes and is changing a kid thats not his granddaughter. I laughed really hard.

TEAR JERK ALERT!! Jimmy takes his granddaughter to work with him while babysitting and she gets a fever and you see Jimmy running with the baby in his arms to the emergency room.

Overall, this is a show that I think you people will enjoy. I give it a 3.5 out of 5.  Enjoy the show!

ABC is at it again with their new drama Blood & Oil. It’s a classic story of good versus evil and love conquering all. This show reminds me a lot of the classic show Dallas.

I can’t tell you much, but if you are a fan of success, love, drama, and action, this is the show for you. There were moments of, “WHAT JUST HAPPENED” and moments of, “please, don’t give up” and a lot of me asking myself “Why do I feel like crying?!?!”.

In classic drama mode, the ending will make you want more! Make sure to check it out!
