On tonight’s episode of The Voice, we find out who is going to be continuing on to the Top 11!  Tonight was also the first night of #VoiceSave giving viewers the chance to save an artist from the bottom two to continue on next week.

During the show, we got to see performances from Team Adam, Team Blake, and G-Eazy!

Team Adam performed, “Hey Jude,” and dedicated the performance to the late Christina Grimmie #CGForever

Team Blake performed, “Crippled Inside.”

G-Eazy performed his new song “Good Life.”

From that point on, we were greeted by many commercial breaks, some behind-the-scenes looks, ya know the usual for an elimination show. The results go as follow:

Brennley Brown – Team Gwen

Jesse Larson – Team Adam

Lauren Duski – Team Blake

Vanessa Ferguson – Team Alicia

Aliyah Moulden – Team Blake

Lilli Passero – Team Adam

Chris Blue – Team Alicia

Hunter Plake – Team Gwen

TSoul – Team Blake

Stephanie Rice – Team Alicia

This left Troy Ramey and Mark Isaiah to battle it out for the Instant Save. Troy performed “Drift Away” and Mark performed “When I Was Your Man”. After patiently waiting for the commercial break to be over, Carson announced that the winner of the Instant Save was Mark Isaiah, from Team Adam.

Be sure to join us next week for the Top 11 performances!

On tonight’s episode of The Voice, we were blessed by an appearance from this week’s mentor, Shania Twain. (She even got her own chair during the show!) Tonight we also got to watch performances from the Top 12 as the battle it out for the viewers votes for the results show tomorrow night!

First up tonight we have Jesse Larson, from Team Adam, performing “Make You Feel My Love.”

It is such a vulnerable and amazing performance. This is definitely the type of music that Jesse should be singing; not that he can’t sing more upbeat songs, because he has definitely proven that he can do that as well.

Next up, also from Team Adam, we have Mark Isaiah performing “One Dance.”

I am actually really digging this rendition of the song, and love that Mark made it his own. Adam shares that even though he knew what Mark was performing tonight, he was still blown away by it.

From Team Alicia, we have Stephanie Rice performing “White Flag.”

Alicia saved Stephanie last week during the live playoffs, and it was a decision that I do not completely agree with, and this performance just kind of added to that. There are moments in the song that were great, but the performance as a whole, I was not blown away by. But Shania Twain seemed to love it, so maybe it’s different actually hearing it live.

Troy Ramey, from Team Gwen is up next performing “Free Fallin’.”

The first few notes of the song I felt were a little too low, but as the song progressed, the performance got better. This rendition of the song is something that we are not completely used to, but it was beautifully sung.

Next up is Aliyah Moulden, from Team Blake, performing “Heat Wave.”

For someone so young, Aliyah has such a strong and powerful voice. I absolutely love watching her perform. Coach Blake and Shania give her a standing ovation at the end of the performance.

Chris Blue, from Team Alicia, is next performing “Love and Happiness.”

Overall, it is a great performance. Chris continuously performs with so much energy during every single song and it is so fun to watch.

Lauren Duski is next, from Team Blake, performing “Lord, I Hope This Day Is Good.”

I really enjoyed Lauren’s performance last week, and this week is no different. She continues to impress the coaches and the viewers with each of her performances. She is a must for next week.

Up next, from Team Adam, we have Lilli Passero, who was given the task to perform “Man, I Feel Like a Woman”

I was really hoping that someone would perform a Shania Twain song, and it is crazy that Adam picked Lilli to be that person. Truthfully, I was not totally impressed by this performance. It was good, but it could have been a lot better. I think that Lauren ,or even Brennley, might have been a better choice to sing a Shania Twain song.

From Team Gwen, we have Brennley Brown, performing “Long, Long Time.”

Brennley continues to surprise me every week with her performances. This was one of my favorites from tonight. Shania praised her for how much emotion she put into the performance.

TSoul, from Team Blake, is next performing “Always on my Mind.”

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a8SvULJqb5Q

It was a great performance from TSoul, and Blake shared that he was a proud coach after this performance. It’s cool to see TSoul perform something completely different from last week’s performance and still perform it so effortlessly.

Next, from Team Gwen, is Hunter Plake performing “Somebody That I Used to Know.”

Hunter definitely put his own spin into this song, and I actually kind of like it. It matches his style, and he sang it really good. I was impressed, and the coaches were too.

The final performance of the night goes to Vanessa Ferguson, from Team Alicia, performing “A Song For You.”

Another great performance to end the show. I do not think that Vanessa gets enough praise, I am very impressed by how effortlessly she sings these songs week after week. It would be great to see her back next week.

That’s it for the Top 12 performances!

Be sure to vote for your favorites as one artist will be eliminated tomorrow night!

Here we go for night 2 of  the Live Playoffs! Tonight we will see performances from Team Gwen and Team Adam as they battle it out for the remaining 6 spots in the Top 12.

Tonight’s show will run similar to last night’s episode; Team Gwen will perform first, followed by Team Adam, and at the end of the show, we will find out which 2 contestants were voted by America to stay in the competition. It is then that Gwen and Adam will each get to choose 1 person of the remaining contestants to continue on to the Top 12.

First up, from Team Gwen, we have Johnny Gates, who is actually Gwen’s comeback artist, performing “Hands to Myself.”

Johnny put his own spin to this song, and it is actually really good. It reminded me of those Rock albums that do covers of Pop songs, his voice would be perfect for that. He has great energy throughout the whole performance, and even Alicia compliments him on it.

Next up we have Troy Ramey performing “A Case of You”

Almost immediately, his voice reminded me a little bit of John Legend’s. It was a simple, kind of vulnerable performance, something we are not totally used to seeing from Troy. It is one of my favorite performances between all the performances we’ve seen so far from the Live Playoffs.

Quizz Swanigan is next performing “My Girl.”

I’m getting similar performance vibes… TSoul wore an almost identical suit last night, and similar style song…. but anyways, Quizz does give an impressive performance with this song. For someone so young singing an older song, it’s not always easy, but he did a great job.

Next we have Brennley Brown performing “Fly.”

Brennley has the usual country singer voice, but it is still a very pretty voice, and there is something unique about it. I can’t quite put my finger on what it is exactly. Another favorite performance of mine from the Live Playoffs… truly amazing!

JChosen is next performing “Nothing Compares 2 U.”

Now, JChosen has a lot of pressure on him because he’s performing a Prince song, and when I first heard that I was scared for him. I am amazed by how great this performance is. This song was perfect for him to perform tonight, and he truly gave it his all and did not disappoint.

The final performance from Team Gwen is from Hunter Plake performing “Elastic Heart”

Another change to the tempo of a hit song, but it definitely matches Hunter and his personality. Overall, it was a great performance, and I very much enjoyed it. Adam praises Hunter, and tells him how great of a singer he is!

It is now Team Adam’s turn to perform! First up we have Johnny Hayes performing “Ain’t Too Proud to Beg”

The second night of performances, in my opinion, is a lot better than the first night. (Sorry Team Blake and Alicia). Johnny has so much energy on stage, and it went with this song so perfectly. It is a great performance, if he stays in the competition, I would love to see him perform more songs like this.

Next from Team Adam we have Hannah Eyre performing “Skyscraper.”

Personally, I do not think that Hannah has the right voice to hit those lower notes, BUT the higher notes she was able to hit. Unfortunately, I don’t think this was the right song to perform at this point of the competition. It’s wasn’t terrible… but it also wasn’t my favorite, which is disappointing because I do think that Hannah has such a great voice.

Josh West is up next performing “More Than a Feeling.”

See now this is the perfect example of having the right song choice for a performance. Josh sang this song pretty much flawlessly, aside from some possible technical issues that snuck in, but still great. Adam, without hesitation, even calls Josh a badass!

Taking the stage next is Mark Isaiah performing “All Time Low.”

Mark definitely has that ‘heartthrob’ look to him, and the girls very much enjoy him. This performance was actually pretty good, and I was impressed by how well he performed this song. Adam pretty much begs the viewers to give him more time to work with Mark so that he can make him “the best version of himself.”

Next up is Lilli Passero performing “It’s Too Late.”

I actually really like this performance. Lilli has a very beautiful voice, and the song choice was perfect for her style. It was a very classical, yet powerful, song, and she sang it so effortlessly.

The final artist from Team Adam is Jesse Larson performing “Sir Duke.”

Certainly last, but not least! This was a great performance from Jesse, vocals, stage presence, everything. I think it was a great performance to bring the show together again at the end. Adam described it as the “best vocal of the night”!

It is now the end of the show, and the results are in for Team Gwen!

Carson reveals that Brennley Brown and Hunter Plake are the two that America voted to keep in the competition. Coach Gwen decides to keep Troy Ramey!

Then its time for the results for Team Adam!

Carson reveals that Jesse Larson and Lilli Passero are the two that America voted to keep in the competition and Coach Adam chooses to keep Mark Isaiah in the competition!

Just like that, we have our Top 12 contestants! We are a week closer to seeing who the winner of The Voice is going to be…

Any guesses???

Tonight is the first night of the Live Playoffs! Similar to past seasons, during this round of performances, each coach has the opportunity to bring back any artist of their choice that was previously eliminated to perform during the Playoffs.

The results of tonight’s show are voted in real time, through Twitter and The Voice app, which will lead to a results segment at the end of the show, sending 6, of the 12 contestants that performed, home.

Tonight, only contestants from Team Blake and Team Alicia will be performing, making it a little easier for us to keep track of who’s eliminated and who is safe to compete in the Top 12!

The first performer tonight is Casi Joy, from Team Blake, performing “Parachute.”

Casi gives a pretty great performance, and has great stage presence. Something seems a little off to me, but I can’t tell if its her performing, or just the way the sound is coming through my devices (because I do watch each performance twice, once on Live television, and second through YouTube, with headphones in and volume full blast). But overall, it is a great performance, and Blake applauds Casi by how much energy she gave and how “accurate” the performance was.

The second performer tonight is Felicia Temple, who was Blake’s choice to bring back to perform during the playoffs. Felicia is singing “Defying Gravity.”

Personally, I do not think that this was the best song choice for Felicia to perform for her “comeback” performance, and it might have hurt her more than helped her. Not that it wasn’t a good performance… it just could have been a lot better considering the circumstances that she was performing tonight. Blake still described it to be an incredible performance.

Next up we have, Aaliyah Rose, from Team Blake, performing “Brass in Pocket.”

Now this song, was perfect for Aaliyah during this point of the competition. It really showed her personality on stage and showed everyone the different notes her voice can hit. Blake describes it as her best performance yet, and I could not agree more.

TSoul, from Team Blake, is next performing “Knock on Wood.”

Just the first minute of the song is amazing on its own, he doesn’t even need to continue on with the rest of the song. If he gets eliminated tonight, there will be issues, because that was just too amazing not to keep him in the Top 12. His stage presence and the way he interacts with the crowd is just amazing to watch.

Next from Team Blake is Aliyah Moulden performing “Mercy.”

An older song, but almost perfect for Aliyah’s voice. It is also obvious how much fun Aliyah had performing this song. She’s so cute and adorable but also a “firecracker” as Blake described her.

The final contestant performing from Team Blake is Lauren Duski, singing “Someone Else’s Star.”

I got some Celine Dion vibes from this performance, but also some real country vibes. It is a great performance all around, very simple, yet impressive, and perfect for Lauren. Blake assures Lauren that after this performance, she is going to receive a lot of support from country music fans.

First up tonight from Team Alicia is Chris Blue performing “Love on the Brain.”

At first, I was a little worried about the higher notes in this song, and how Chris was going to approach them, but then I remembered how amazing his falsetto is. He hit those notes without any issues. Chris puts so much passion into this performance, I’m just sitting here in amazement honestly. Gwen described his performance to be mesmerizing.

Next up we have, Anatalia Villaranda performing “Stand by Me.”

This was a great performance from Anatalia, but she had so much energy during it that I kind of wish she had a more upbeat song. The energy she was giving off was a little too much for the song she was singing, so if she sang one that was a little faster, I would have enjoyed it more.

Alicia’s comeback artist Jack Cassidy is up next performing “Don’t Let the Sun Go Down on Me.”

Overall it is a good performance, but similar to Felicia’s, I think that a better song could have been chosen to really show off what they have. They were brought back by the coaches for a reason, so they should really prove why they deserve to stay. Jack does hit some good notes, and its not a terrible performance, but it didn’t necessarily blow me away either.

Vanessa Ferguson is next performing, “Lean on.”

The rendition she sang of this song surprised me because it is pretty much the complete opposite to the original song. This was a great performance, and I can’t be the only one who was amazed that these were the actual lyrics of the song right????

Next up from Team Alicia is Ashley Levin performing, “I Can’t Stand the Rain.”

This was the perfect song for Ashley to sing, just the right amount of soulful, rock, and country all put together. Alicia had nothing but nice things to say to Ashley for this performance.

The final contestant from Team Alicia is Stephanie Rice performing “Every Breath You Take.”

Stephanie is a great singer, but this week I’m not sure exactly how I feel about the performance. I feel like her voice is meant for more rocker, upbeat songs, and if she does a slower song like this it needs to be approached a different way. But hey, I’m not a coach or contestant on the show, so who knows what I’m talking about.

Team Blake is first up to get the results and Carson Daly shares that Lauren Duski and Aliyah Moulden are the two with the top votes and moving on to the Top 12. Then it is up to Blake to decide who of the remaining four he wants to save. Ultimately he decides to keep TSoul in the competition. (Thank goodness)

From Team Alicia, Carson reveals that Chris Blue and Vanessa Ferguson are the two with the top votes and will be moving on to the Top 12. Then Alicia chooses to keep Stephanie Rice in the competition!

That’s it for the first night of playoffs! Be sure to join us tomorrow as we watch Team Gwen and Team Adam battle it out for the final spots in the Top 12!

Tonight was the start of the second week of Battle rounds and I can truthfully say that this season’s contestants are all absolutely amazing. If you don’t believe me… take a look for yourself…

Josh Hoyer vs. TSoul: “In the Midnight Hour”

Both great singers with amazing stage presence. TSoul shows a more natural stage presence than Josh does, however Josh is truly just happy to be there and be doing what he loves.

Coach Blake decides to keep TSoul on his team, unfortunately sending Josh home.

Caroline Sky vs. Stephanie Rice: “The First Cut Is the Deepest”

Caroline opens up the song and it is just sung beautifully, and Stephanie follows after, and with her raspy voice it actually matches almost perfectly with this song.

Coach Gwen makes the decision to keep… Stephanie!

But worry not Caroline fans… Caroline is saved by Blake!!

Kawan DeBose vs. Malik Davage: “Love Me Now”

Currently my favorite song right now, so as soon as they started singing I was amazed. Their vocals fit so perfectly for this son. My only issue with that they tried to add too much of their personality into it that sometimes, to me at least, it seemed like it was a little off beat, or didn’t match the song… but hey I’m not a coach!

Both great performances from Team Adam, but Adam decided to keep Malik!

Hunter Plake vs. Jack Cassidy: “Dancing on My Own”

This is actually one of my favorites from tonight. The power in their voices, and just how much emotion was put into this performance was unbelievable. I really hope that whoever is eliminated gets saved because they are both just amazing singers that deserve to be in this competition.

Alicia chooses to keep… Jack!

But no worries, because Hunter was saved by Gwen!

Autumn Turner vs. Vanessa Ferguson: “Killing Me Softly with His Song”

Another favorite performance of mine. Autumn and Vanessa made this song truly like it was their own, and their rendition of it was amazing.

Alicia decides to keep Vanessa on her team!

BUT Autumn is saved for Team Adam!

Johnny Hayes vs. Julien Martinez: “Hard to Handle”

I’m honestly not exactly sure how I feel about this performance, I’m in between with it. Both have potential to be great singers, in fact we saw that during the blind auditions… but this performance was a little rough. Regardless, they still gave it their all.

Adam decides to keep Johnny, and based off this performance, I do think that was the better decision.

Aaliyah Rose vs. Savannah Leighton: “Treat You Better”

This song could not have been more perfect song for these young women. They were both able to add some girl power moments into this performance, along with them being super cute and adorable.

Gwen chooses to keep Aaliyah!

Josh West vs. Nala Price: “Everybody Wants to Rule the World”

Started off a little odd, but nonetheless still great singers and a great performance! Josh is able to get his voice pretty high to match Nala, and Nala sings everything so perfectly.

Adam chooses to keep Josh!

Andrea Thomas vs. Micah Tryba: “What Hurts the Most”

Another favorite performance of mine from tonight, this reminded me of a country/pop duo song that would have a super cool music video (make that happen ASAP please). Both are amazing singers, and I truly mean amazing. Blake is going to have a really tough decision with this one.

But ultimately, Blake chooses to keep, Andrea!

Battle Montage: Enid vs. Valerie, Hanna vs. Sheena, Jozy vs. Troy

Enid vs. Valerie; Blake chooses to keep Enid!

Hannah vs. Sheena; Adam chooses to keep Hannah!

Jozy vs. Troy; Gwen chooses to keep Troy!

Short and simple, but be sure to check out www.youtube.com/NBCTheVoice for more videos and behind the scenes look for this week’s show!

The night finally came for us to find out who has made it to The Voice finale, but not without a couple extra performances!

Time is not wasted as the first person is announced… he made it to number 1 on iTunes after last night’s performance singing “I Surrender”, Billy Gilman from Team Adam Levine!!!

There is no doubt in my mind that Billy definitely deserves to be the first person to take a spot in the finale, he has done an amazing job this season, and deserves to stay in the competition!

~~

Taking a break already from the results, we have OneRepublic performing their new song”Let’s Hurt Tonight”;

as well as a look inside the Hairspray Live set with the Top 8 and none other than Jennifer Hudson!

Hairspray Live! is airing December 7th on NBC at 8/7c.

~~
Back to the results!

No surprise here, the next person announced to be in the finale is Sundance Head from Team Blake Shelton, who was actually number 2 on iTunes after last night’s performance!

~~

What’s a Voice results show without breaks in between each person?

Next we have a performance from Season 10 finalist Hannah Huston, performing her new song “I Alone Have Loved You”. Great performance!

~~

And back to the results.

The third person to make it to the finale is We McDonald from Team Alicia Keys!

At this point Miley Cyrus is the only coach who does not have someone going straight the finale! The two singers with the least amount of votes will automatically be sent home, while the other 3 battle it out for a Instant Save!

~~

Of course we need to take one more break for another performance, but this one is from Coach Blake Shelton, so I’ll let it slide!

Blake performs his new single, “A Guy With a Girl” and it is awesome!!!!

~~

FINALLY the time has come and we find out that the two with the least amount of votes are Aaron Gibson from Team Miley and Brendan Fletcher from Team Adam, which means that they are automatically sent home.

This also means that the 3 that are battling it out for the Instant Save are Ali Caldwell from Team Miley, Josh Gallagher from Team Adam, and Christian Cuevas from Team Alicia.

They are all truly amazing performances, but only one of them can be saved to go to the finale.

The final contestant is… Josh Gallagher from Team Adam!!!

~~

This means that your FINAL FOUR, aka the Season 11 FINALISTS are:

Billy Gilman

Sundance Head

We McDonald

Josh Gallagher

~~

What do you think of the results? Anyone else sad that Miley won’t have anyone in the finale?

Be sure to tune in next week for the finale!!!!

Tonight of The Voice the Top 8 performed which means…. WE ARE IN THE SEMI FINALS!!

These performers are battling it out for a stop in the Top 4, aka THE FINALE!

Truthfully I am having serious trouble trying to figure out who deserves to be in the Finale because they all deserve it! This season has brought some amazing talent and I am just as anxious as all of you to find out who the winner of Season 11 will be!

This week brought  2 performances from each contestant, one solo and one duet with another contestant!

First up to perform tonight is Christian Cuevas from Team Alicia Keys, performing “To Worship You”. Christian takes a risk going back to his gospel roots considering that not many people know the song and the fact that he sang half of the song IN SPANISH, yeah, you read that right. But he gives an amazing performance, and it was absolutely beautiful.

The first duet of the night is We McDonald (from Team Alicia Keys) and Aaron Gibson (from Team Miley Cyrus).

Although they have completely different styles, while performing “Four Five Seconds”, their voices blend so perfectly for this rendition of the song!

Next up for the solo performance we have Ali Caldwell from Team Miley Cyrus.

Coach Miley gave her probably one of the hardest songs ever, “I Will Always Love You”. I was honestly very surprised with how great of a performance this was!

Another solo performance is next from Team Adam Levine with Brendan Fletcher performing “Angel”.

Brendan stripped it down last week for his performance, so he continued on the theme for this week’s performance and it definitely works out for him!

Next with a duet are the only country artists in the competition, Josh Gallagher (from Team Adam Levine) and Sundance Head (from Team Blake Shelton)

The two join up to give an amazing performance of “Feelin’ Alright!”

The next solo performance is from We McDonald from Team Alicia Keys!

We is performing “Scars to Your Beautiful” and gives such an amazing performance while sending out such an empowering message!

Aaron Gibson from Team Miley Cyrus is up for his solo performance.

Coach Miley has chosen for Aaron to perform “(Everything I Do) I Do It For You”. It is a great performance, and hopefully it keeps him out of the bottom this week.

Christian Cuevas (from Team Alicia Keys) and Billy Gilman (from Team Adam Levine) are next performing “Unsteady”.

This is the perfect song for these two friends, and their voices are amazing!

Josh Gallagher (from Team Adam Levine) is up for his solo performance singing “Danny’s Song”.

This is different from what he normally performs but it was a great performance, and possibly the best time to switch it up!

Up next is a duet from Ali Caldwell (from Team Miley Cyrus) and Brendan Fletcher (from Team Adam Levine) giving an incredible performance of “It’s Only Love”.

Sundance Head (from Team Blake Shelton) is up to give his solo performance of “Love Can Build a Bridge”. Week after week Sundance Head has made other songs his own, but this week he’s back to the country roots, and it is amazing!

The final solo performance from tonight is Billy Gilman (from Team Adam Levine).

Billy gives an amazing performance of “I Surrender”, and truly just nails the performance!

These performances were all so amazing, I can’t decide who to vote for….

But tomorrow, FOUR contestants will be sent home, giving us our final 4 in time for next week’s finale!

Be sure to cast your vote for your favorite artist!
