-DREAM LOGIC IS HARD TO RATE

You see, it’s mostly an art book.  It’s difficult to stack that against sequential storytelling of any ilk, especially when even the worst books I read this week were worthwhile.  So I tried to weigh it by the impossible convention of “If I hadn’t been able to buy some of these books, and somehow I knew how much I would enjoy them beforehand, which books would I buy Dream Logic instead of?”  And that question was answered quite quickly:  I would have cheated myself more to have missed Cinderella instead.  Still, if you’re a fan of David Mack and his sometimes obtuse process, and you’re willing to pay the ridiculous price of $5.99 for what would appear to be the added special features to a hardcover, it does not disappoint.
