I have been disliking it very, very strongly, but this issue mostly focused on telling one good Martian Manhunter story instead of trying to tell five stories at once, three pages at a time.  If they keep doing it this way, and if the stories keep being of such high quality, Brightest Day could start being an event book again.  My fingers, they are crossed.
